There is no better place to cool off in Boston’s sweltering weather than the city’s cold pools and splash areas. These locations are ideal for families, friends, or anyone wishing to make a splash this summer, whether they live nearby or are just visiting.
Boston’s splash pads are the ideal getaway for younger swimmers and those who simply want to have some fun without the deep water. Boston offers both indoor and outdoor choices if you’re itching for a classic pool day.
According to an Instagram post by Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, there are dozens of splash pads located throughout the city, along with 15 pools that are open this summer.
To assist everyone in Boston stay cool and have a pleasant, safe summer, we’ve been working hard to renovate and open new pools and splash pads, increase swim safety education, and allocate more resources than ever before, Wu added.
The city’s aquatic spots are beckoning, whether you want to relax by the pool or get involved. Remember to check hours of operation and closures, pack sunscreen, and prepare to enjoy Boston’s sunny season to the fullest.
