Transportation
On July 1, Southwest began offering one-way tickets as little as $49 during a three-day Independence Day promotion. The deal expires on July 3 and is valid for travel from August 4 to December 17.
Families with small children can benefit from Amtrak’s kiddie discount, which offers all children under the age of two free rides and 50% discounted rides for those ages 2 to 12.
This season, ferry tickets to the Boston Harbor Islands are less expensive. Massachusetts residents can save $15 on weekday ferry tickets by purchasing them for $10, or they can use a discount code from their local library to receive 50% off tickets for up to four persons.
Restaurants
Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant will host its annual Independence Weekend Fiesta from July 3rd to the 6th in honor of the Fourth of July. Patrons may purchase Jell-O shots for $3 and margarita flights for $10. Additionally, on July 3 only, the restaurant will serve $6 red, white, and blue margaritas. All Massachusetts locations (Framingham, Northborough, Revere, and Waltham) are offering the deals.
During Providence Restaurant Weeks, which took place from July 6–19, Rhode Island residents enjoyed inexpensive meals. At participating restaurants, you can get discounts on meals, cocktails, and prix fixe menus.

Hotels
For Independence Day weekend only, the Omni Boston Hotel, a waterfront retreat with a rooftop pool, is lowering its prices to $199 per night.
In honor of Independence Day, Benchmark Resorts & Hotels is holding its first Independent Hotel Sale, with nightly rates starting at $17.76 from June 27 to July 11. Wayfinder Newport in Newport, Rhode Island; Spruce Point Inn in Boothbay Harbor, Maine; The Kendall in Cambridge, Massachusetts; and The Equinox Golf Resort & Spain Manchester, Vermont are among the New England properties participating. Availability affects the rates.
From now until September, the Revere Hotel in Boston is running a special Canada Resident Offer that will save Canadian guests 15% off rates. Residents of Canada are required to check in with a valid ID.

Museums / Attractions / Activities
This month, on Sundays and Wednesdays, you may take a free tour of Eastham’s famous red, white, and black lighthouse, which is featured on the packages of Cape Cod potato chips.
Portsmouth, New Hampshire’s Water Country Water Park is celebrating active and former military personnel by offering free park entry from July 1–6. Simply present a legitimate ID at the Guest Relations desk by the park’s main entrance. Additionally, military personnel can pay $29.99 to invite up to four guests. This summer, take advantage of additional park deals.
This summer, are you looking for a trip to the White Mountains?Free downhill mountain riding instruction are available at Lincoln’s Loon Mountain Resort. Bike rentals are available and can be booked in advance for $25, although reservations are not necessary.
Every Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m., the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) in Boston provides free admission. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on the day of the visit, and advance reservations are advised.
