Independence Day is right around the corner, and communities across Idaho are ready to celebrate with fireworks, parades, festivals, and plenty of family fun. Here’s your guide to the biggest Fourth of July events happening in Boise and surrounding cities.

Boise: Fireworks Over Ann Morrison Park

  • Festivities begin at 6 p.m.
  • Fireworks show at 10:15 p.m., synchronized to music on 107.1 Hank FM
  • Local food trucks, beer, and wine available for purchase
  • Interactive fountain lit in red, white, and blue
  • Parking in the park closed all day — walking, biking, or ride-sharing recommended

Meridian: Independence Day Festival at Storey Park

  • Date: Friday, July 4
  • Time: 4 to 10:30 p.m.
  • Location: Storey Park, 205 E. Franklin Road
  • Food trucks open at 4 p.m.
  • Fireworks show at approximately 10:20 p.m.
  • Lawn chairs and blankets encouraged, picnics welcome

Nampa: Early Fireworks Show

  • Date: July 2, 2025
  • Details: Fireworks show to kick off the holiday celebrations early

Caldwell: Annual Fourth of July Celebration

  • Morning Parade: 9 a.m., Downtown Caldwell

Twin Falls: Evening Fireworks Show

  • Location: College of Southern Idaho campus
  • Residents encouraged to mitigate fire risks during celebrations

Buhl: Three Days of Festivities

  • July 3: Fish Fry at the Senior Center, 4 to 8 p.m.
  • July 4:
    • Pancake breakfast and fun run at the Senior Center
    • Parade at 10 a.m., from Gasoline Alley south on Broadway Ave to the Stoplight at Broadway and Burley Ave
    • Vendors, food, and games at Eastman Park until 5 p.m.
    • Fireworks show at dusk, bring blankets and lawn chairs
  • July 5: Guns vs. Hoses softball game — friendly competition between police and fire departments
