Independence Day celebrations are returning to South Florida this week with fireworks shows, concerts, and family-friendly events across Miami-Dade and Broward counties. While most events are moving forward as planned, a few changes have been announced due to weather concerns.
Miami-Dade County Events
- Miami – Bayfront Park’s 4th of July Celebration
Bayfront Park will once again host Miami’s signature Fourth of July event, featuring entertainment for all ages and a grand fireworks display. - Aventura – 4th On The Green Fireworks Extravaganza
JW Marriott Miami Turnberry will host Aventura’s annual fireworks show, with activities planned throughout the day and evening. - Town of Miami Lakes – 4th of July Celebration
Live entertainment, food, and drinks at Veteran’s Park, 15151 NW 82nd Ave.
Time: 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. - Coral Gables – Fireworks Celebration at the Biltmore Hotel
Free community event at the Biltmore Hotel, 1200 Anastasia Avenue, with festivities running from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. - Coconut Grove – 4th of July Celebration at Peacock Park
The event is free and open to the public at 2820 McFarlane Road.
The Red, White and Grove concert has been postponed due to weather conditions.
The fireworks show is still scheduled for 9 p.m.
Broward County Events
- Pompano Beach – July 4th Fireworks Spectacular
Free event at Fisher Family Pier from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. - Plantation – Independence Day Celebration
Free event starts with a parade at 9 a.m. beginning at Broward Boulevard and NW 46th Avenue, ending at City Hall.
Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. - Fort Lauderdale – 4th of July Spectacular
Free event from noon to 9:15 p.m., spanning three beach locations:- Beach south of Las Olas Boulevard
- Las Olas Oceanside Park (The LOOP)
- Fort Lauderdale Beach
- Davie – Fun on the 4th
Event at Bamford Sports Complex, 3801 S. Pine Island Road, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Pre-registration and proof of Davie residency are required to attend. - Pembroke Pines – Event Canceled
The City of Pembroke Pines has canceled its Fourth of July festivities and fireworks display at the Pines Recreation Center due to weather concerns.
Officials remind residents to follow all event guidelines and check for updates, especially regarding weather-related changes. Early arrival is recommended to secure good viewing spots.
