Bergen County residents and visitors are invited to celebrate Independence Day at the second annual Star-Spangled Spectacular at Overpeck County Park on July 4. The event promises a full afternoon and evening of family-friendly fun, live music, food trucks, and a grand fireworks display over Overpeck Creek.
This year’s celebration will feature performances by Super Trans Am, Glenn Roberts Country Band, Tempo Alegre Latin Band, and a special appearance by the New Jersey Wind Symphony.
“With the return of fireworks and a world-class performance by the New Jersey Wind Symphony, we invite families from across the County to come together at Overpeck Park as we celebrate our country’s independence and look ahead to America’s 250th birthday in 2026,” said Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco.
Star-Spangled Spectacular Schedule – July 4, 2025
- 2:00 p.m. – Event opens with DJ, food trucks, beer and wine garden, youth entertainment, and inflatables
- 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. – Glenn Roberts Country Band
- 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Tempo Alegre Latin Band
- 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. – Super Trans Am Band
- 8:00 p.m. – New Jersey Wind Symphony performance
- 9:30 p.m. – Fireworks over Overpeck Creek
Attendees can enjoy over two dozen food trucks, children’s activities, and the beer and wine garden throughout the day. The event is free and open to the public.
