This Norwood Colonial has a covered front porch that can be reached by walking past a stone walkway that was put in last year. As you enter the foyer of this three-story house, you’ll notice hardwood floors throughout the remainder of the house and a stairwell on the right.
The living area, which is a component of an open floor plan that runs the length of the floor from front to back, is accessible by turning left and entering through a French door.
The entire area of the common area is 1,079 square feet. The space consists of the living room, kitchen, and dining room, as well as a study tucked away in a corner on the left side of the house. The study features a huge double-hung window and built-in bookshelves.
Two additional windows are situated on the left external wall, and the living room begins with a four-window bump-out at the front of the home. Recessed lighting, crown molding, and a ceiling fan are all present.
The study appears on the left as you proceed toward the back of the house, and then the dining room, which is just across from the kitchen.
The dining table, which currently seats six, is defined by a three-light chandelier. On the left external wall is a long rectangular window with frosted glass that lets in natural light. The walls of the dining area are lined with wainscotting that is mid-height.
A slider to the backyard and back deck divides the kitchen from the dining room. A U-shaped arrangement of counters encircles the kitchen.
From the left and right to the gas range, there are granite countertops. On the right, beneath a big window, sits the sink. Thin, rectangular tile runs between the two cabinet layers. The wall without cabinets has mid-high wainscotting, and the appliances are stainless steel.
The private area is located on the third floor, which is approximately fifteen steps from the entrance and stairway. A laundry closet with full-size appliances is located behind bifold doors at the top of the stairs.
The corridor ends at a door to the main suite that ensures privacy as it bends to the right. The 300-square-foot bedroom features hardwood floors, a central ceiling fan, and a cathedral ceiling. There are four double-hung windows that let in natural light.
The same bedroom wall is the source of two doors. One leads to the bathroom, which is 41 square feet. It features tile floors and a single vanity with a white sink. There’s a big double-hung window with a shower/bath insert behind a curtain.
The walk-in closet with built-in shelves is accessible through the second door.
The other two bedrooms are between 222 and 197 square feet in size. The bigger of the two features a four-window bump-out and is located in the front of the house.
The other bathroom on this floor is 58 square feet and features tile flooring and a single vanity with a sand-colored counter on top. A shower/bath insert is present.
Returning to the second level, the half-bath features tile flooring and a single vanity with a white sink.
The finished lower level with hardwood floors is accessible by a carpeted stairs just past the half-bath. An 853-square-foot gym room located at the end of a lengthy hallway that is packed with closets and storage areas. Additionally, half of this space is carpeted. Seven frosted-glass windows strewn throughout the outer walls let in natural light. The backyard is also accessible through a frosted-glass door.
A detached garage with two rooms is present. The house contains an Aprilaire humidifier, a Nest thermostat, a tankless hot water tank, and a new heating system from 2021.
As of this writing, a contingent offer has been accepted for the house, which is listed by Jill Cohen of Redfin in Braintree.
