Two San Jose Men Caught Joyriding in Stolen Car: Police Make Arrests. (KRON)— The Benicia Police Department reports that two San Jose individuals were taken into custody after they were found in possession of a stolen car.

On Wednesday, a person reported to Benicia Police Department dispatch that their car had been stolen from San Jose, and the GPS indicated that the car was located close to Warwick Drive and Clearview Circle in Benicia.

The car was found by officers in a nearby residential parking lot. According to the police, they witnessed two males exit the vehicle and start to leave.

Ivan Isreal Villasenomarquez, 52, and Eddie Bara Jr., 32, were named as the suspects.

According to Benicia Police Department, Villasenomarquez had a controlled substance on him when the two were being held. Additionally, police discovered that Bara Jr. was the subject of five felony arrest warrants from other counties.

After being taken into custody, both were checked into the Solano County Jail.

Bara Jr. was charged with both his warrants and resisted arrest. Villasenomarquez was accused of possessing a controlled narcotic, stealing a car, and possessing a stolen vehicle.

The owner received both the car and the pilfered goods back.
