Massachusetts Schools Featured on Princeton Review's Best Value Colleges List

The Princeton Review recently released its “Best Value Colleges” list, and several Massachusetts schools earned top spots for providing high-quality education at an affordable price.

UMass Amherst ranks No. 41 among the top 50 best value public colleges. The total cost for in-state students is $38,455, while out-of-state students pay $61,727. UMass has committed to offering free tuition for students from families making less than $75,000 annually.

Private Colleges in Massachusetts also performed well on the list. MIT ranked No. 3, offering free tuition to families earning under $200,000. Other top-ranked Massachusetts private institutions include Williams College (No. 7), Harvard University (No. 8), Wellesley College (No. 22), and Amherst College (No. 29). Harvard expanded its financial aid to make tuition free for more middle-class families.
