TRINITY COUNTY, Texas – Sheriff Woody Wallace of Trinity County said that a man was taken on Sunday after he allegedly said he was “going pig hunting” or made plans to kill police officers.
Wallace says that the sheriff’s office was told that a man had shown a gun and said he was going to kill police officers as he drove around the town of Trinity.
On FM 356, Randall Konetzke was seen driving carelessly. He stopped in front of the Trinity Police Department and then sped back onto FM 356 where he had stopped.
Wallace told the police that Konetzke was talking to another driver while standing outside of his parked car on the side of the road. He started to walk back to his truck when he saw the police officers. The police told him to stop, but he kept trying to get into his truck.

After a short fight, Konetzke was taken into custody. Police charged him with illegally having a gun while a felon, making a terroristic threat to a public worker, and refusing to be arrested, searched, or transported.
