From races and parades to live entertainment and a spectacular fireworks finale, Downtown Lexington will be the center of the celebration.

- 7:25 a.m. — Bluegrass 10,000 Wheelchair Race
- 7:30 a.m. — Bluegrass 10K & 5K
- 8:30 a.m. — Fun Run

Fireworks Start Time
The official Lexington Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular begins at 10:00 p.m.
The fireworks will be launched from the R.J. Corman Railroad rail yard near the intersection of West Main Street and Oliver Lewis Way, creating excellent views throughout Downtown Lexington. The city has partnered once again with R.J. Corman Railroad Group for the annual display.

One of the city’s premier viewing locations, Gatton Park hosts an all-day celebration from 11:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., including food vendors, lawn games, live music, and direct views of the fireworks.

Country and Christian music star Anne Wilson performs at Gatton Park beginning at 8:00 p.m., with attendees enjoying premium views of the city’s fireworks after the concert.
Parking and Traffic
Downtown Lexington will be extremely busy throughout the holiday.
Visitors should:
- Arrive before 4:00–5:00 p.m.
- Use downtown public parking garages
- Expect temporary street closures for the parade and festival
