The Kansas City area is set to celebrate Independence Day with fireworks shows, parades, picnics, and family-friendly events happening from July 3 through July 5. From Overland Park to Parkville, residents can enjoy several options to mark the holiday weekend. KC Streetcar and RideKC will operate on modified schedules to accommodate the festivities.
