July 4 fireworks Detroit (2025) Full list of towns, times, and rain dates

The long weekend is here, bringing grilling, pools, and fireworks across Metro Detroit. While many fireworks shows have already wrapped up, there are still plenty of displays to catch over the holiday weekend.

Here’s a list of fireworks shows happening across Metro Detroit for the Fourth of July:

Oakland County

  • Holly
    • Fireworks on Thursday, July 3, at 10 p.m.
    • Location: Lakeside Memorial Park
    • Parking: $5 at Lakeside Park Parking Lot and East Rd. Cemetery Parking
    • No on-street parking, alcohol, dogs, or personal fireworks allowed
  • Sylvan Lake
    • Fireworks on Thursday, July 3
    • Location: Oakland County Boat Club (fireworks launched from a barge)
    • Viewing: Available at Ferndale Park
    • No on-street parking; only in approved gravel or paved areas
  • Clawson
    • Fireworks at dusk on Friday, July 4
    • Location: Clawson City Park
    • Includes Firecracker Mile run, parade, food trucks, and more
    • Parking allowed in the area, except designated no-parking zones
  • Huntington Woods/Rackham Golf Course
    • Fireworks on Friday, July 4, at 10:05 p.m.
    • Location: Over Rackham Golf Course
  • Lake Orion
    • Fireworks on Saturday, July 5, at dusk
    • Organized by Lake Orion Fireworks Foundation
    • Funded entirely by donations

Macomb County

  • Utica
    • Fireworks on Friday, July 4, after USPBL games at Jimmy Johns Field
    • Additional firework nights scheduled for the holiday weekend
  • Ray Township
    • Youngblood Vineyard’s “Red, White, and BOOM” fireworks
    • Fireworks for three consecutive nights starting Thursday, July 3
    • Note: Parking is completely sold out for all three nights

Wayne County

  • Dearborn
    • Greenfield Village “Salute to America” fireworks
    • Shows scheduled for Thursday, July 3, and Saturday, July 5
    • Greenfield Village closes at 3 p.m. on event days
  • Brownstown
    • Fireworks at Lake Erie Metropark on Thursday, July 3, at 10 p.m.
    • Early arrival recommended to claim a spot
    • Metroparks pass required for entry
