Montgomery Police Identify Two Victims in Friday's Double Shooting

Police have identified two Montgomery men who were killed in an early Friday shooting.

According to the Montgomery Police Department, around 1:57 a.m., fire medics and police responded to the 500 block of North Eastern Boulevard for what was believed to be a single shooting victim. Jeroderick Bell, 29, and Devin Ligon, 30, were found on the scene with life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Bell and Ligon were taken to a hospital and pronounced dead, according to authorities.

Police believe the shooting was an isolated event among persons who knew each other.
