How to help those impacted by the Texas floods

Over the Fourth of July weekend, flash floods devastated areas of Texas, killing at least 82 people and leaving dozens more missing, including a group of girls at a nearby summer camp.

Ten girls are missing from Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp close to the Guadalupe River, and authorities are still searching for them.

A significant recovery effort is now being directed toward the region around the river, which is outside of San Antonio. The area’s readiness for flooding and the promptness of its emergency response have now drawn increasing criticism from officials.

Organizations are mobilizing to assist residents as part of the ongoing recovery operations. For this reason, we have compiled a list of organizations that are helping those affected by the flooding. Have we overlooked any? Please complete the poll below or send us an email at [email protected] with the materials you believe should be included.
