Two young Honduran brothers, ages 4 and 7, were found on Wednesday at the southern border in Texas. They had only an address written on a piece of paper with them.
According to Lt. Chris Olivarez of the Texas Department of Public Safety, the brothers were found in Eagle Pass, Texas, with 116 illegal immigrants, 11 of whom were children who were not with their parents.
Olivia Rodriguez said that the kids had a piece of paper with an Alabama address written on it.
Three of the kids were seen on video standing next to a policeman who was writing on a piece of paper.
The police officer told the kids in Spanish, “You’re going to throw this one away, and I’m going to give you this one because the other one is wet.” “Don’t lose it because you will need it.”
Olivarez told Fox News Digital that the people who were here illegally were from Honduras, Colombia, Guatemala, and Venezuela, among other places.
Even though they crossed into government land and private property, none of the immigrants are being charged with trespassing.
Still, Olivarez said, the kids were all taken into custody with the group.
Last month, state police in Eagle Pass caught a group of 101 illegal aliens. 29 of the illegal aliens were caught and charged with breaking the law by entering the country without permission.
There were more than twenty children between the ages of 3 and 15 who were not with an adult at the same time.
Like the people who came in illegally on Wednesday, these people were from many different countries, such as Honduras, El Salvador, Venezuela, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Brazil.
