Worcester police searching for woman allegedly involved in road rage incident

The public is being asked to assist Worcester Police in identifying a woman and a man who are suspected of being involved in a road rage incident on Park Avenue on July 15.

Around 1 p.m., the woman and another woman were driving a three-wheeled vehicle down Park Avenue when the two got into a fight, according to a statement from Worcester police.

According to authorities, the woman who was seated in the three-wheeler’s passenger seat struck the other woman with a helmet. The woman’s neck was injured in the assault and she was admitted to the hospital.

An dispute erupted between the two women as they were traveling in the same direction. Worcester Police Spokesperson Joe Cersosimo said they continued to argue at every red light.

According to the police, the reason for the argument is being looked into.

According to Cersosimo, the tricycle followed the woman who was driving to a store on Park Avenue to leave the fight.

Cersosimo said that after both women got out of their cars, the woman from the three-wheeler hit the other with her helmet and drove off.

The man and lady in the three-wheeled vehicle are being sought for identification, Worcester police said in a Facebook post.

According to the authorities, the woman had recognizable tattoos on her back and arms.
