Wisconsin Man Indicted for Violent Assault on Menominee Reservation; Victim Hospitalized for Nearly a Month

NEOPIT, Wis. – Nee Gee Cloud, 31, of Neopit was charged by a federal grand jury on Tuesday with assault with intent to kill, burglary, and domestic abuse by a repeat offender.

Cloud is accused of assaulting a woman he was living with on the Menominee Indian Reservation on September 20, 2024. This led to the charges.

Court papers say that the attacker hit the victim in the face, stomped on her head and neck, punched her, kicked her in the chest, and slammed her face into the floor, seriously hurting her.

Reports say that some of the events were caught on camera in the house. Because her injuries were so bad, the victim was in the hospital for almost a month.

Cloud could go to jail for up to 40 years and have to pay a $750,000 fine if he is found guilty. He could also have to go through supervised release and special assessments.
