Happy Thursday,

Last week, I spotlighted the PBR Rank Rides and Country Vibes event that brought the thrills to Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards. I wasn’t able to make it, but the

video recaps

showed it was a night to remember.

If you’re itching for more Western entertainment, then head to the city’s Cultural District Saturday night for

The

American Performance Horseman

at Dickies Arena. The event is bringing together three top Western equine disciplines — cutting, reining and reined cow horse — in a single night. This is the competition’s third year, but the first time it is a stand-alone event at Dickies Arena.

After 24 of the world’s most accomplished riders compete, the event caps off with a live performance from Grammy Award-winning country duo Brothers Osborne.

Which equine discipline are you looking most forward to? Let me know by contacting me at
