The seven-day America’s 250th Celebration: Stars & Stripes Voyage, which is centered on America’s semiquincentennial, was recently announced by Seattle-based Holland America Line.

The journey, which will take place on board the company’s Zuiderdam ship, leaves Boston on July 4, 2026, and includes stops in New York City for the night, Norfolk, Virginia, and Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.

After taking in the Freedom Trail and Boston’s daylong festivities, passengers will depart from Boston and get a front-row seat to the city’s famous fireworks show in Boston Harbor.

Once in Virginia, travelers can visit Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown, three places collectively referred to as the Historic Triangle.

According to a statement from Holland America Line, the names Jamestown and Yorktown are closely associated with the founding of the United States. One is well-known as England’s first colony, while the other is regarded as the final significant conflict between the fledgling nation and the British Crown. In the early history of America, each was crucial.

The greatest fleet of tall ships and gray hull ships in the world is gathered in New York Harbor, where visitors may enjoy the Sail 4th 250-tall ships armada.

According to the event website, in addition to the magnificent tall ships flotilla, a wide range of activities, celebrations, and festivities will take place throughout the region to inform, amuse, and involve audiences from all over the nation and in all communities.

Port fees and taxes are included in the starting price of $1,459 per person.
