Teens Arrested for Jewelry Store Robbery at Fort Worth Mall Using Hammers, Police Report

Two teens were taken by Fort Worth police in connection with a recent theft at Helzberg Jewelers in the Tanger Outlet Mall.

Police say that Jamairous Williams and Chase Greene, both 17, were identified through the investigation and surveillance cameras in the shop that caught images of them while many customers were there.

Police say they are also thought to be involved in several other theft cases.

During the Oct. 26 theft, one of the teens walked into the store by himself and seemed like a customer. Police say that a short time later, he came back with three other young men to rob the store, which was caught on surveillance video.

Police say they used hammers to break display cases, which made customers and shop workers run away for safety.

After an unknown amount of gold was stolen, they ran away on foot.

Detectives are still looking into the case to see if any other people might be involved. Police say this case has been made in Denton County.
