Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced a nationwide recall of two Amazon products due to serious injury and suffocation hazards for children. The recall affects select Romorgniz dressers and Anna Queen play yards, prompting parents and caregivers to immediately discontinue use of these items.
Romorgniz Dressers Recalled Over Tip-Over Risk
The fabric 12- and 13-drawer dressers from Baituo Innovation Technology Co. Ltd., doing business as Romorgniz, have been recalled due to potential tip-over and entrapment hazards. The dressers violate federal stability standards established under the STURDY Act, which mandates that clothing storage units meet essential stability requirements to prevent accidents.
The recalled models include:
- 12-drawer dresser: Model R99MWM12CHMW, approximately 52 x 12 x 35 inches, priced around $80
- 13-drawer dresser: Model R99M9C4CLHW, approximately 35 x 11 x 55 inches, priced around $140
Colors affected include rustic brown, pink, white, and black, and each features a wooden top and metal frame. The dressers were sold on Amazon.com from July through October 2025, with a total of approximately 1,980 units impacted.

The CPSC warns: “Consumers should stop using the recalled dressers immediately if they are not anchored to the wall and place them in an area inaccessible to children.” As of November 20, no injuries have been reported in connection with these dressers.
Anna Queen Play Yards Recalled for Suffocation Hazards
Additionally, Guangzhou Tinger Trading Co. Ltd., operating as Anna Queen, has recalled select Play Yards due to suffocation and entrapment risks. Infants can become trapped under the mattress or between the side panels and mattress, creating a potentially fatal hazard.
Recalled play yard details:
- Model P700, production date March 2025, approximately 70 units sold
- Features black fabric sides, mesh panels, and top rails with multi-colored bear prints
- Sold on Amazon.com for $100 to $110

Federal Safety Standards and Consumer Guidance
These recalls highlight the importance of federal safety regulations for children’s products. The STURDY Act, passed by Congress and enforced starting September 2023, established mandatory stability standards for dressers and similar furniture to reduce tip-over incidents.
Peter Feldman, acting chairman of the CPSC, emphasized the progress made in protecting children from furniture-related accidents: “CPSC has made great strides in the past 10 years to minimize these hazards and save lives. I am grateful for the work of our dedicated staff, safety advocates, and the American furniture industry.”
Take Action to Protect Children
Parents and caregivers are urged to check their homes immediately for these recalled items and take the necessary steps to prevent accidents. Avoid placing children near dressers that are not anchored and ensure play yards are removed from use until a refund is obtained.
