After a body was discovered inside of a vehicle in San Mateo on Wednesday, the California Highway Patrol stated that they are conducting an investigation into a fatality that occurred.
An incident involving a car that was parked on the right shoulder of Highway 101, north of Highway 92, was reported to the California Highway Patrol at around 2:10 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol reports that firefighters discovered a dead person in the backseat of the vehicle.
According to the California Highway Patrol, an investigation is currently being conducted.
