The 66th Ottawa County Fair begins Monday, marking the second of four major community fairs along the Lakeshore this summer. Held at the fairgrounds in Park Township (1286 Ottawa Beach Rd.), the six-day event opens with afternoon 4-H goat and sheep shows, a beer tent, trivia games, and live music by the Allendale Jazz Orchestra in the Community Tent.
The evening wraps up with a high-energy Grandstand concert by Trixy Tang. The fair will also host themed days for children, seniors, and first responders, alongside crowd favorites like a bump-and-run demolition derby, monster trucks, motocross, a rodeo, and dirt drags throughout the week.
The Ottawa County Fair follows the Berlin Fair in Marne and will be succeeded by the Hudsonville Community Fair in August and the Allegan County Fair in September.
