OBIT: VALERIE WOODSON HARDNETT

On July 24, 2025, Valerie Woodson Hardnett, a lighthouse of love and compassion, passed away, leaving behind priceless memories that her family and friends will always cherish. Valerie, who was born on March 5, 1966, was renowned for her loving nature and unflinching devotion to her loved ones.

The warmth of familial ties permeated Valerie’s life. She welcomed her duty as a loyal family member wholeheartedly, always putting her loved ones first. She was a beloved friend to many because of her affectionate demeanor, which went beyond her immediate family. Valerie gained a special place in the community because of her generosity and compassion, which were apparent to everyone who came into contact with her.

A visitation is scheduled for July 31, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, where her legacy will be celebrated through the services given in her honor. On August 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM, a funeral ceremony will be held at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-John Chapel. A burial ceremony is planned for 1:30 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, where Valerie will be laid to rest after the service.

Even though Valerie Woodson Hardnett’s life is over, her memory and the love she shared will live on for years to come. Her loved ones are deeply appreciative of the opportunity to have known someone so exceptional.
