Los Angeles, California – The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fresh sexual assault claim against hip-hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is currently behind bars.
The allegations, stemming from an incident involving a shirt belonging to the late rapper Biggie Smalls, also known as Notorious B.I.G., have raised new questions about Combs’ past conduct in the music industry.
New Sexual Assault Allegation
Authorities confirmed that the Special Victims Bureau of the LA County Sheriff’s Department received an official copy of a Sept. 20 police report detailing the allegations from an alleged victim in Largo, Florida.
According to the report, the alleged victim, Jonathan Hay, claimed that Combs masturbated on a shirt belonging to Biggie and tossed it at him, later allegedly forcing his penis in Hay’s mouth in two separate disturbing encounters.
Incidents in California
The alleged incidents reportedly occurred while Hay was working with Combs and CJ Wallace — the son of Biggie — in California in late February 2020. During a project involving Biggie’s clothing, Hay alleged that Combs began watching pornography on his phone and masturbating under one of Biggie’s shirts while they were alone in a warehouse.
The police report further claims that Combs asked Hay to “finish him off,” a request the producer refused. Combs then ejaculated on one of the shirts and threw it at Hay, allegedly saying, “Rest in peace BIG.”
Follow-Up Allegations

Hay reportedly remained silent about the incident until December 2020, when he told Wallace. In March 2021, Hay alleged that he was grabbed by two men, roughed up, and had something placed over his head before Combs allegedly forced oral sex on him during a subsequent meeting with Wallace and entrepreneur Willie Mack.
These allegations echo a civil lawsuit Hay filed in July against Combs, Wallace, and others, claiming sexual battery and harassment. Hay has since publicly identified himself as the victim in previously deleted social media posts.
“I’m pushing for criminal charges to be filed against Combs at a state and federal level,” Hay told ShockYa in October.
Combs’ Legal Status
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, founder of Bad Boy Records, is currently serving 50 months in FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal prison in New Jersey. He was convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in Manhattan in July but was found not guilty on the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
Community and Legal Implications
The new allegations add to ongoing scrutiny of Combs’ conduct within the music industry and raise questions about potential further criminal investigations. The LA County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that the Special Victims Bureau will thoroughly investigate the claim to determine next steps in the case.
