Located in Gaylord, Michigan — There is a Winter Weather Advisory in force until seven in the morning Eastern Standard Time (EST), and it is anticipated that freezing rain will produce hazardous travel conditions across sections of northern Michigan right through Tuesday morning.
Ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch are expected to occur as a consequence of freezing rain, as stated by the National Weather Service in Gaylord. In addition to Emmet, Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Otsego, Montmorency, Alpena, Alcona, Mackinac Island, and Bois Blanc Island, the following counties and municipalities are among those that have been impacted: Antrim, Kalkaska, Crawford, Oscoda, Missaukee, Roscommon, Ogemaw, and Iosco. The counties of Central Chippewa, Eastern Mackinac, Southeast Chippewa, Western Chippewa, and Western Mackinac are among the additional counties that are under advisory until ten o’clock in the morning.
