Pittsburg, Kansas—The National Weather Service (NWS) is issuing a tornado watch for parts of Kansas until 9 p.m. CST tonight. This means that tornadoes, strong winds, and lightning are possible.
Nearly 1.9 million people are at risk because of the tornado watch in places like Pittsburg and Neosho. The NWS says wind gusts could hit 70 mph and hail could be as big as a ping-pong ball.
