Diego Morales said that investigators told the family that the tragic collision was simply an accident, something he said doesn’t make sense.
“I don’t believe it’s an accident,” he said.
The 59-year-old’s daughters, Karen and Diana Morales, say they want justice and that in the aftermath of their father’s death, the family has been struggling emotionally.

“My mom, in the nights, she screams and wakes up scared,” she explained. “It’s like a trauma for all of us.”
Veronica Morales, his wife of nearly 30 years, also expressed her grief, saying the family is going to miss him very much and that the hardworking 59-year-old didn’t deserve what happened to him.
KTLA has reached out to traffic investigators with the Inglewood Police Department to see if an arrest has been made and is awaiting a response. Authorities reportedly told family members that investigations of this type can often take many months to complete.
In the meantime, a GoFundMe has been organized for heartbroken family members grappling with the emotional and financial toll of laying their loved one to rest.
