Illegal House Party Erupts in Two Vacant Folsom Ranch Homes

FOLSOM: On Saturday night, hundreds of adolescents staged an unlawful house party in two brand-new, empty homes in Folsom Ranch.

“This is like something out of a movie,” Shelley, who wished to remain anonymous but saw it all, remarked. “Two hundred-plus kids breaking into a house.”

She caught the startling footage of teenagers lining Happy Hallow Drive as they filed out of two empty new homes one after the other.

“These are all new people that just moved in so they have probably only been here maybe a couple of weeks,” said Shelley. “The children were visible on the second story. Every light was on. They were yelling, screaming, and generally having a good time.

The illegal party left behind evidence on Sunday, including handprints on the garage, alcohol cases inside, and leftover beer cans on the road.

The children were rolling up and not trying to be discrete, according to ring footage that was given with CBS13.

“There was a fight that broke out in the street,” a neighbour who wished to remain nameless stated. “An additional child was approached by two children who sort of barraged him before throwing him into a car hood and causing him to fall to the ground. We made the decision to call the police at that very moment.

The fight, according to the neighbour, was the last straw. Another neighbor’s cell phone video captures the moment the cops arrived and the children left after the neighbours claimed to have phoned several times.

“They showed no respect to the police officer that showed up and they were being destructive,” Shelley stated.

The home’s owner, who was contacted by CBS13 over the phone, was unaware of any of this until they came out to do the story.

“I am in disbelief,” he remarked. He moved in May, and his new house had just been painted. He has a lot of questions now.

When CBS13 visited the Lennar Homes office to enquire, they were informed that they were unable to comment at this time.

As one neighbour put it, “It was a little scary,” but wished to remain nameless. “It looked like they consumed drugs as well, we could smell it.”

According to one neighbour, they moved here because it appeared calm and safe, and they never anticipated seeing so many teenagers on the street.

Even though there are still new homes being built on the streets, the youngsters have taken control despite the completed properties having “sold” signs.

Neighbours are wondering where the child’s parents went.

“People are saying, ‘Oh, you guys are Karens,'” Shelley expressed. “I don’t think they would feel that way if it was happening in their house they just bought or in your neighbourhood.”

Despite several attempts, CBS13 never received a response from the Folsom Police Department.

The neighbours desire to have a security guard patrol this area going forward because they believe this may have been a social media challenge.
