Halloween Events in Massachusetts and New Hampshire Moved Due to Coastal Storm

With a coastal storm expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds to the region this week, several Halloween events in Massachusetts and New Hampshire have been rescheduled for safety reasons.

Halloween at Fenway Park

Fenway Park’s free, family-friendly “Halloween at Fenway” event — originally scheduled for Thursday — will now take place Wednesday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m..

Families can enjoy trick-or-treating on Fenway’s warning track, face painting, balloon art, and photo ops with the World Series trophies. Costumes are encouraged, though masks are not permitted for safety. Guests should enter through Gate C on Lansdowne Street.

Patriot Place Trick-or-Treating SPOOKtacular

Patriot Place has also moved its annual Trick-or-Treating SPOOKtacular event from Thursday to Wednesday, 3–7 p.m. Families can visit participating destinations throughout the North Marketplace for candy, treats, and giveaways. Costumes are welcome for all ages.

Trick-or-Treat Schedule Changes in New Hampshire

Several New Hampshire communities have adjusted their trick-or-treating schedules due to the forecast:

  • Portsmouth, New Castle, and Newington – Trick-or-treating moved to Wednesday
  • Newmarket and Rochester – Trick-or-treating moved to Friday

Summary

As Halloween week celebrations continue, organizers and local authorities are prioritizing safety by adjusting schedules ahead of the expected storm. Families are encouraged to check local community updates before heading out for trick-or-treating.
