Foggy Mornings and Breezy Days Ahead for the Bay Area and Northern California

Foggy Mornings and Breezy Days Ahead for the Bay Area and Northern California. On Sunday morning, the Bay Area was covered in fog and haze, which made it difficult to see in many areas. Hazier weather persisted in the South and East Bays as fog started to clear up in the North Bay. As visibility improves until the late morning, drivers are advised to travel carefully and account for delays.

Sunday will bring cooler temperatures, with inland valleys reaching the upper 60s and coastal highs in the lower 60s. On Monday, the North Bay Mountains will experience gusts of up to 40 mph due to the return of breezy offshore winds. Early on Monday and Tuesday, interior valley temperatures will drop into the 30s, and frost advisories are expected.

The likelihood of rain increases in the middle of the week, and a major storm could bring more than an inch of rain to the North Bay hills on Friday and into the weekend. A wetter and more active weather pattern is in store.
