Family of 18-Year-Old Missing Since Halloween Says Her Body Has Been Found by Police Divers. According to her relatives, police divers found the body of 18-year-old Mai Sai Vue on Thanksgiving Day after she had been missing since 11 p.m. on Halloween night.
In early November, KRON4 reported that 18-year-old Mai Sai Vue had not been seen since Halloween night, and the search for her had been ongoing for almost a month. At the time, that station reported that Vue had been last seen at Grove and Larkin streets at 11 p.m. on October 31. However, KRON4 also stated that on Sunday, November 3, SFPD informed her family that they were “searching near the Golden Gate Bridge, as they believe she was in the area before her disappearance.”
A month later, there has been a devastating conclusion. According to Vue’s relatives, police divers found her dead, according to the Chronicle. This information is based on a GoFundMe page update stating that her body was discovered on Thanksgiving Day, November 28. There aren’t many information in the report regarding where this discovery was made, although it was most likely in San Francisco Bay.
On the GoFundMe campaign, Katelynn Vue writes, “My sister, Mai Sai Vue, went missing on October 31st of 2024, and her body was finally found on November 28 with the help of local PD divers.” “She is my only sister, and I had hoped to grow old with her, so I am still in shock that I have to ask for everyone’s help and favor in order to donate to her funeral expenses.”
Law enforcement officials have not verified these details.
“Mai Sai was a kind, bright, and incredibly patient lady. She was my pillar of support and the only person I could rely on because she was my only sister. “I am lost, crushed, and unable to concentrate on the reality that I will no longer have someone to call my sister or rely on in the absence of my baby sister. It is never enough to have a brief but wonderful life together.
