Cornelius Man Faces Multiple Charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

CORNELIUS—A guy from Cornelius is in jail after someone gave police information about someone who might be involved in child pornography.

Detectives from the Cornelius Police Department and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began an investigation after getting a tip.

On October 1, detectives went to the home of Brandon Michael Pham, 28, and got a search order. They then searched. During the search, many tech items were taken away to be analyzed by forensic scientists.

Ten counts of felony third-degree sexual exploitation of a child were filed against Pham. Pham turned himself in and is now being held at the Mecklenburg County Jail on a signed $150,000 bail.
