The 2025 Buffalo County Fair kicks off Wednesday, July 23, and runs through Monday, July 28, at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds. This year’s fair features a jam-packed lineup including live concerts, carnival rides, 4-H competitions, food, commercial exhibits, and more.
Highlights include:
- Concerts: Country artists BlackHawk, Sammy Kershaw, Ian Munsick, and Josh Ross will headline the weekend at LandMark Implement Arena. Free nightly shows by Switchbak will take place at the Buffalo Corral.
- Carnival: The carnival runs daily from Wednesday through Sunday. Wild Rider Wristbands are available for $70 for unlimited rides all week.
- BINGO and Beer Garden: The Kearney Volunteer Fire Department will host nightly BINGO games from 7 p.m. to midnight, with a Beer Garden opening Friday and Saturday at 5 p.m.
- Demolition Derby: The Andersen Wrecking Demolition Derby caps off the weekend on Sunday at 5 p.m. in the Outdoor Arena.
4-H Schedule:
The fair will also host a wide array of 4-H events including dog shows, small animal and cat shows, fashion shows, livestock judging, rabbit and poultry competitions, and the Premium Livestock Auction on Monday. Youth participants will showcase their skills in agriculture, arts, crafts, and science throughout the week.
The Exhibit and Extension buildings will be open daily for the public to view 4-H, FFA, and open class entries, with commercial vendors on site from Wednesday through Sunday.
