The countdown to the Allegan County Fair 2025 has officially begun, with gates set to open on Friday, September 5. With a full lineup of entertainment, exhibits, and family fun, organizers are reminding attendees and exhibitors to complete key steps before deadlines arrive.
Entry Deadlines Approaching for Exhibitors
Individuals planning to showcase animals, arts, crafts, produce, baked goods, flowers, or antiques must act quickly. Entry forms are due well before opening day.
Key deadlines include:
- Youth entries: Due by August 10
- Open Class entries: Due by August 15
Premium Books, which include instructions and entry forms, are available at the Fair Office or online. Exhibitors interested in reserving animal stalls or display space should also review the Animal Health Requirements and complete the 2025 Exhibitor Online Entries on the same website.
Don’t Miss the Parade: “Shine & Show Through September’s Glow”
The Allegan County Fair Parade will take place on Monday, September 8, with the procession beginning at 6:00 p.m. in downtown Allegan. Entries will travel the parade route and pass in front of judges at the Grandstand, where awards will be given based on official entry rules. This year’s theme, “Shine & Show Through September’s Glow,” promises a bright and festive atmosphere.
Grandstand Entertainment Lineup
A major draw for the fair each year is the Grandstand entertainment, which features a mix of comedy, country, motorsports, and R&B in 2025. Attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets before August 15 to receive free gate admission with their entertainment tickets.
