by Alabama: Four Men Face Charges for Attempting to Engage in Sexual Acts with a Child. On suspicion of child sexual assault, four males from Alabama were taken into custody in Vestavia Hills on Saturday.
Denzel Eugene Cotton, 34, of Pleasant Grove; Nathan Alexander Blanchard, 35, of Birmingham; Richard Eric Fitzsimmons, 56, of Hoover; and Jerry Edward Stewart, 58, of Springville, were arrested on December 6th for traveling to meet a juvenile for sex and electronic solicitation.
Although there aren’t many details available, court filings indicate that the four males conspired to try to have inappropriate intercourse with a Vestavia Hills youngster.
Fitzsimmons and Stewart are being held in the Jefferson County Jail pending trial.
The location of Blanchard and Cotton’s detention is unknown at this time.
