After Being Told to Leave the Milwaukee Wedding, a Crazy Guest Bites Off Someone's Thumb

News sources say that a guy from Milwaukee who is accused of biting someone’s fingertip off at a wedding in 2023 pleaded not guilty this week to charges of disorderly conduct and battery.

Nathan Landsee of Milwaukee pleaded not guilty to the charges on Monday, according to FOX 6 in Milwaukee. The court then found him guilty on both counts.

The station got court papers that show that on Oct. 27, 2023, police were called to The Club at Lac La Belle in the Town of Oconomowoc because “someone had their fingertip bitten off.”

When the police arrived, they found Landsee “sitting on a couch with blood on his sleeve that didn’t look like it was from him.” “There was blood on the floor between the foyer and the ballroom as well,” the cops wrote in the court document. “Several people were remaining inside the venue who appeared to have been disturbed by this incident, including some who were crying.”

One of the witnesses told the police that there were two incidents. It was the first time Landsee “inappropriately touched another guest,” the lawsuit said.

Some people at the wedding didn’t like Landsee, who got angry and began to yell.

After that, he was taken to a room off the main hall that was closed off from it. The bride and groom tried to calm the suspect down, which is what happened in the second case.

The station said that Landsee became unruly and started yelling again a short time later. Investigators heard from another witness that Landsee’s actions made people want him to leave the wedding. But that made him even more angry, so he kept making a lot of noise.

The first person who talked to police said he told Landsee that the cops would call him if he didn’t leave in five minutes.

It was said that Landsee then “started to lunge at him and was attempting to strike him.”

A fight broke out, and the lawsuit says that Landsee “bit the tip off someone’s finger” when three other people pinned him to the ground.

“The victim had serious injuries,” a responding officer said. “It looked like about half an inch of the finger had been bit off.” It looked like the bone inside the finger was showing.

The sergeant also said that the thumb was put in ice.

Investigators said Landsee was helpful with them and that he looked “highly intoxicated.”

Police said Landsee said “he did not know what happened, but that everyone was grabbing him, and someone put their hand inside his mouth, so he bit down.”

On October 29, 2023, the victim told police that the damage to his finger required 18 or 19 stitches while the surgeon tried to reattach the tip of his finger. The man told the cops that he would have a deformity for the rest of his life if the surgery didn’t work.

Landsee is set to be judged on December 13.
