Colerain Township, OH – A 30-year-old Ohio man, Kayvon Warren, allegedly orchestrated the murder of his 26-year-old pregnant girlfriend, India Kinamore, on the day she was due to give birth, authorities said. Prosecutors revealed that Warren had asked his employer for bereavement leave to mourn her death before hiring two friends to carry out the killing.
The shocking crime occurred on March 4, 2023, at Kinamore’s home in Colerain Township.
Alleged Conspiracy and Murder
According to Hamilton County prosecutors, Warren enlisted Robert Ervin, 20, and Lamar Morris Suggs, 22, to break into Kinamore’s home around 6 a.m. and shoot her. The plan was allegedly designed to make the murder appear as a burglary gone wrong.
“This should have been one of the happiest days of India’s life,” said Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich. “Instead, the father of the child conspired with two others to kill her. It’s heartbreaking. My office will see that justice is done for both India and her baby.”
Prosecutors said Warren had been seeing another woman, struggling financially, and had pressured Kinamore to terminate the pregnancy.
Investigation and Arrests
Investigators from the Colerain Police Department and Hamilton County detectives conducted dozens of interviews and reviewed financial and phone records to uncover the plot. The investigation led to a 13-count indictment against Warren, Ervin, and Suggs.
The charges include:
- Aggravated murder
- Burglary
- Felony assault
In addition, Ervin and Suggs face weapons charges.

According to online records:
- Kayvon Warren is being held at Hamilton County Jail without bail following arraignment.
