During its national fall travel flash sale, Amtrak is giving coach class rates on routes across the country up to 25% off.

Bookings for travel between September 3 and November 13 must be made by August 20. More than 500 locations around the country on the Northeast Regional, Downeaster, Vermonter, and numerous other routes are eligible for the discount.

Travelers can find tickets from Boston to Providence for as little as $15 each way and Boston to New York for as little as $45 each way.

“With some of the best views of the country from our large, panoramic windows, the fall season is a great time of year for travelers to rediscover the joy of train travel,” said Eliot Hamlisch, Amtrak’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer, in a statement. Our passengers may have a comfortable and relaxed ride without traffic or middle seats, and with significant savings, whether they are traveling through the dynamic Northeast, the sun-drenched South, the picturesque West Coast, or stunning Middle America.

Travelers should be aware that there are blackout periods for October 13 and November 11 and that availability is restricted.

Reservations can be made via the Amtrak app or at Amtrak.com for those who are interested.
