The Longmeadow native waited for a lull in her production schedule and rode a ferry to Cape Cod, which was used for filming The Perfect Couple instead of Nantucket.
As soon as we pulled in, I thought, “Oh!” Fahy informed Meyers that this is the reason he had never visited Nantucket. Both then and now, I am still too impoverished. It’s wild here.
Meyers, who grew up in Bedford, New Hampshire, tried to provide Fahy some consolation by telling him that he frequently visits the adjacent Martha’s Vineyard.
Fahy shot back, “You look like you go there.”

Meyers invited him and his family to visit Martha’s Vineyard at any time, notwithstanding the zinger.
