DermaRite Industries has issued a voluntary nationwide recall of specific lots of its products due to contamination with Burkholderia cepacia, a bacterium that can cause serious infections, including sepsis, in people with weakened immune systems.

The recall covers multiple lots of DermaKleen, Dermasarra, KleenFoam, and PeriGiene products, which were distributed across the United States and Puerto Rico.
