Eastern Sierra County Fair 2025: Entertainment Lineup, Ride Prices, and Special Events

The Eastern Sierra County Fair is back and ready to light up the summer with family-friendly fun, community pride, and all the charm of a small-town celebration. Set in the beautiful high desert landscape of Eastern Sierra County, California, the fair offers four days of entertainment, agriculture, and unforgettable memories.

Fair Dates and Timings

  • Dates: August 21–24, 2025
  • Timings:
    • Thursday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
    • Friday & Saturday: 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM
    • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Location: Eastern Sierra County Fairgrounds, Bishop, CA

Tickets

  • General Admission:
    • Adults (13–64): $10 per day
    • Seniors (65+): $5
    • Children (6–12): $5
    • Kids under 6: Free
  • Season Pass (All 4 Days):
    • Adults: $25
    • Seniors/Children: $15
  • Parking: Free general parking available onsite

Main Attractions

  • Livestock Shows – 4-H and FFA youth showing cattle, pigs, goats, and poultry
  • Rodeo Events – Barrel racing, team roping, and mutton bustin’ in the main arena
  • Home Arts & Crafts Exhibits – Quilting, photography, preserves, baking, and fine arts
  • Eastern Sierra Talent Show – Local singers, dancers, and performers take the stage
  • Parade through Downtown Bishop – Saturday morning celebration with floats and bands

Event Highlights

  • Thursday: Opening ceremony, exhibit hall opens, local talent preview
  • Friday: Rodeo at 7:00 PM, livestock judging, baking contests
  • Saturday: Parade at 10:00 AM, main rodeo event, live music at night
  • Sunday: Family Day, petting zoo, closing ceremony at 4:30 PM

  • Full carnival for all ages featuring:
    • Ferris Wheel
    • Tilt-a-Whirl
    • Kiddie Train
    • Fun Slide
    • Bumper Cars
  • Ride Pricing:
    • Unlimited wristbands: $35 per day
    • Individual tickets available at the midway

Food and Concessions

  • Classic fair food and local flavors including:
    • Tri-tip sandwiches, tacos, and corn dogs
    • Funnel cakes, cotton candy, and churros
    • Fresh lemonade, root beer floats, and snow cones
    • Local vendors selling jams, jerky, and baked goods

  • Handwashing and sanitation stations near livestock and food areas
  • First aid station and lost & found located near main gate
  • Picnic tables and shaded seating available
  • Free hydration stations throughout the grounds
