According to reports, Academy Award-winning actress and producer Jessica Chastain has been seen attending school at Harvard University rather than filming a movie.
According to Variety, Chastain, who featured in the films Interstellar and The Help, is enrolled in Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government to pursue a master’s degree in public administration.
According to its website, Harvard’s two-year graduate MPA program offers a flexible curriculum. Based on their individual and professional objectives, students design their own 64-credit study schedule.
Chastain, 48, went to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1998 after attending Sacramento City College from 1996 to 1997. She earned a BFA in acting from Julliard School in 2003.
Chastain started her acting career after graduating from Juilliard, making appearances in television shows like Law & Order and Emergency Room.
Chastain received an Oscar for Best Actress in 2022 for The Eyes of Tammy Faye and a Golden Globe for Best Actress in 2013 for Zero Dark Thirty.
Her next film role will be in Dreams, which is scheduled for release in October 2025 and tells the story of the romance between a Mexican ballet dancer and a wealthy socialite.
