According to news sources, the female executive who was captured on camera embracing her company’s CEO during a Coldplay performance in a moment that went viral has resigned.
Kristin Cabot, the human resources executive for the tech business Astronomer, resigned, according to several news reports.
Her departure comes after Andy Byron, the CEO, resigned after the business announced he was being placed on leave while an inquiry was conducted.
Social media feeds were overflowing with memes, spoof videos, and screenshots of the two surprised faces as a result of the occurrence.
When singer Chris Martin ordered the cameras to look around the audience for his Jumbotron Song at last week’s performance at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Cabot and Byron were taken aback.

Cabot’s jaw fell, her hands shot to her face, and she twisted away from the camera as Byron ducked out of the frame as they were shown smiling and cuddling on the big screen.
Martin remarked in a video that went viral on the internet, “They’re either having an affair or they’re just really shy.”
It wasn’t immediately obvious who they were when the video originally went viral online, but internet detectives quickly identified them. In a prior response to the AP, the corporation verified the couple’s identities.
Astronomer’s website no longer features either of their profiles, and the news release from November announcing her hire has also been taken down.
Astronomer was a New York-based tech startup that was previously unknown. It offers large corporations a platform that facilitates data organization.
In the days following the viral video, Coldplay’s songs had a 20% increase in online streaming, according to industry data and analytics firm Luminate.
