Four suspected gang members have been arrested in connection with a violent daytime robbery that occurred earlier this year in San José. The San José Police Department (SJPD) confirmed that the incident took place on January 8 at around 1:20 p.m. on the 100 block of Graham Avenue.

Details of the Incident

  • The victim, an adult male, was reportedly attacked by multiple individuals who exited two vehicles.
  • The assailants beat the man until he lost consciousness, while shouting gang-related slurs.
  • The incident was quickly identified as gang-related by responding officers.

Investigation and Arrests

  • The SJPD’s Gang Investigations Unit launched an in-depth investigation shortly after the attack.
  • Detectives identified four suspects involved in the robbery:
    • Carlos Robledo, 24
    • Jose Rivera, 24
    • Manuel Rios, 21
    • A 15-year-old juvenile
  • All four are believed to be documented gang members.

Search and Seizure Operation

  • Arrest and search warrants were obtained and executed during a tactical operation last Wednesday.
  • All suspects were located and taken into custody within the San José city limits.
  • During searches of their residences, police recovered:
    • A firearm
    • Ammunition

  • The three adults were booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.
