Kentucky County Fairs in Full Swing Through Summer 2025

While the Kentucky State Fair is still a few weeks away, residents across the Bluegrass State have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the classic sights, sounds, and tastes of summer through local county fairs. These fairs feature everything from livestock competitions and carnival rides to food, music, and community fun. Many counties have already hosted their events, but several more are set to bring festive cheer through August and even into early September.

Whether you’re interested in watching 4-H youth show off their skills, catching live music under the stars, enjoying fair food like funnel cakes and corn dogs, or seeing the thrill of demolition derbies and tractor pulls—there’s something for everyone.
