In anticipation of the imminent arrival of Lombard’s Lilac Time, guests are cordially encouraged to rejoice by participating in guided tours of the breathtaking Lilacia Park. In the tours, which are being led by the Lombard Historical Society, participants will learn about the park’s illustrious past as well as its stunning beauty, which was built by the well-known landscape architect Jens Jensen.
To be clear, the visits will not start in Lilacia Park proper but rather at the Carriage House, which is located at 23 West Maple Street. It is strongly recommended that attendees arrive fifteen minutes early. Adults can purchase tickets for just $9, while children can purchase tickets for just $5. Additionally, there will be a Mother’s Day tour on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Although walk-ins may be accepted, it is advised that you register in advance.
A one-of-a-kind excursion across the park will be provided by knowledgeable experts throughout the tours, which will take anywhere from forty-five minutes to one hour overall.
