A suspect in the early Saturday morning vandalism of a Tesla Cybertruck parked in a driveway is being sought by Novato police.
Officers reported that the suspect seemed to search the house around 4:20 a.m. and then return an hour later with a concrete rock.
After covering one of the security cameras with duct tape, the suspect repeatedly threw concrete at the windshield.
According to the police, the offender also cut the tires and left a letter stating that they were damaged along with yellow duct tape.
Police posted a home security video of the event on Facebook.
Another incident involving Telsa vehicles in Novado is also known to the officers.
Between 4 and 6 a.m. on Saturday, residents of the Jackon, Truman, Brown, Garner, and Washington drives area are encouraged to check their cameras and report any suspicious activity.
This follows protests and acts of violence against Tesla vehicles and infrastructure due to Elon Musk’s involvement in the Trump administration.
