1 Dead, 3 Injured in Cicero Shooting, 3 More Hurt in Crash Amid Chaos. Following a shooting in Cicero, Illinois, on Sunday afternoon, one person was murdered and three others were injured.
A multi-vehicle collision linked to the shooting also injured three additional people.
According to Cicero police Supt. Thomas Boyle, police were summoned at 12:27 p.m. to a report of gunfire along Roosevelt Road and Cicero Avenue.
According to Boyle, responding officers discovered two scenes: one in the 1100 block of South Cicero Avenue in the South Austin area of Chicago, and another on eastbound Roosevelt Road close to Cicero Avenue. Cicero and Chicago are separated by Roosevelt Road.
Between the gunfire and the crash, seven individuals were injured. According to Boyle, four of them were shot, one of them was killed.
