I Marr Finley faces a number of counts related to the event, including rape of a child, unlawful contact with a minor, and kidnapping of a juvenile, according to a news release from the Harrisburg Bureau of Police.
The 12-year-old girl was going home from school in Harrisburg on November 25 when she noticed a man wearing all black and wearing a mask over his face, according to police, as reported by Penn Live. After she refused, the man, who was later revealed to be Finley, 23, allegedly offered the girl money for sex and instructed her to accompany him.

According to officials, the girl’s backpack was discovered at Finley’s house after a search warrant was executed there. His arrest occurred on Wednesday. According to court documents cited by Penn Live, the 23-year-old guy initially denied knowing the girl or bringing her to his house before telling police he had “consensual sex” with her.
In Pennsylvania, minors under the age of 13 are not allowed to give their consent for sexual conduct, according to the Pennsylvania Coalition to Advance Respect.
Finley reportedly could not post bail and is in the Dauphin County Prison.
